Why did you choose high energy physics as a career path? Because I like it. I believe it is a simple way to explore the laws of nature and to understand them.

Were there any barriers that you had to overcome in order to pursue high energy physics as a career? Yes, in Pakistan it was not a demanding area to be involved with job wise.

Before coming to SU, what other types of experience in this field did you have? I was a thoerist in High Energy Physics and I got training in the theorectical side of High Energy Physics.

Was there any person or event that inspired you to follow this career path?Yes, my professor at Quaid-e-Azaum University in Pakistan, Professor Pervez Hoodblioy.

Is there any advice you may have for today's high school students regarding a career in the sciences? Learn physics not for the "making money" point of view, but learn it for fun!
